nala
In Art Watercolor Gallery, Wolves on October 28, 2013 at 2:23 pmNala…my newest wolf friend. I met her on Saturday walking at the lake. Nala is 8 months old with a high wolf content. It looked to me like there was no dog in her. Just a beauty. She has a long muzzle with that little bump at the end which I love. She is very white and light grey but I took artist’s license here and added a lot of earth tones. She was very skittish as wolves tend to be but I was able to feed her some treats provided by her person. Her human is one of the greats….a knowledgable wolf lover and Nala is being properly socialized. She will probably always be wary but less things will frighten her because of this early childhood training. I have met some wonderful wolf people. I wish they were all like this.

gypsy
In Uncategorized on October 17, 2013 at 3:00 pmThis is ‘Gypsy’ the wonderful cat of Jamie Dede’s family. I did a triptych of her not too long ago. She seems to be somewhat of a character. As agreed the images of Gypsy lean toward mexican/Santa Fe. This is the progress one of the poses. You can see more of Gypsy as well as many other animal related photos, videos and stories on Jamie’s web site The Cat’s Meow.

In Art Watercolor Gallery, Painted Ponies on October 11, 2013 at 1:45 pmIt turned very cold here in the mountains and we had a bit of snow. So I am worshiping the sun now. Just have to have the warmth on my face.

In Art Watercolor Gallery, Ravens and Crows, Things with Feathers, Wild Things on October 8, 2013 at 2:59 pmHigh orator of the raven clan. It sounds like a lot of squawking to us but ravens are very smart and who knows what instruction could be voiced.
