I met this magnificent white husky service dog on one of my walks in the San Bernardino National Forest. Such a beautiful animal and I stopped to talk to the handler. She told me that the husky is a service dog to a man who suffers from epileptic seizures. The dog has the ability to sense an oncoming attack up to 30 minutes before it occurs. Such an amazing bond between human and dog. Sorry that I cannot remember her name.

This painting was submitted to ‘Art for Barks.’  It is a web site consisting of creations by artists supporting service and rescue animal charities. A presentation of service dog art by many of the artists will be uploaded soon.
The original sold as soon as I listed it on Etsy but there are prints available on my website.

'Tessa's Dragon' 300 11-2014_20141117_0003

I painted these dragons for 2 of my granddaughters for Christmas gifts and put them into the little frames that I painted and decorated. There is room in the frame for two more images which will come at a later date. The blank openings were filled with some stamp art by me. The little paintings are 2 x 3 inches. The kids are into dragons and faeries and all things magical. Fun.

The Eskimo Wind Drum, is a circle that has no beginning nor ending, in which we all belong. Only The Great Creator holds the handle, and every time He touches upon the rim, He hears the heart beat of mankind. The stronger the heart beat the healthier mankind is.

This is a powerful heart-prayer from the ancient Eskimo tradition:
‘My hope is that we will all have a strong heart beat

so we can be healthy together
and since it is your heart beat
every time you talk to your heart
she will always speak back.’

The lesson for all of us is to learn how to listen to our hearts.

I see Steve McCurry’s photography and am moved as only a truly high art form will do. This is amazing work.
