‘Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead…..let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come.’…………rumi

We had our first big snow this year. About 7 am I looked out my kitchen window and I saw a lone coyote walking about my property. She was a beauty….full coat and a bit of meat on her bones….ravishing. She looked over her shoulder at me. I don’t believe that she could actually see me but I love these connections.

‘No mud….no lotus’
These words are Buddhist in origin but totally apply to any Self seeking path. The incredibly beautiful and delicate lotus flower always rises from a bed of mud….transformed. And just as the realization of perfection for the seeker comes from the mud of pain and suffering.

‘The Circle has healing power. In the Circle, we are all equal. When in the Circle, no one is in front of you. No one is behind you. No one is above you. No one is below you. The Sacred Circle is designed to create unity. The Hoop of Life is also a circle. On this hoop there is a place for every species, every race, every tree and every plant. It is this completeness of Life that must be respected in order to bring about health on this planet.’
