Well, he has been begging as he always does. A master of the art. It didn’t get him anywhere today, however. Banished from the dinner table. So he has resigned himself to watching furtively for a possible treat. At some point a tasty tidbit will come his way. He never forgets to have patience.

She is watching one of those ‘pill bugs’….’rolly bugs.’ They look like an oblong prescription tablet with a lot of tiny legs. They move around on the floor like miniature armored battle tanks. When touched they immediately roll themselves into a perfectly round ball. Cats will bat them around in the ball form and just wait for them to unfold. Then they can start the game all over again.

She seems to be dreaming warm weather and bright flowers. Actually, I spent this weekend with 2 ft of snow, frozen pipes and a broken furnace. This could have inspired this painting, but I really was not unhappy with my situation. I felt like a pioneer….discovering how to do without creature comforts that are taken for granted. However, the dream all of us dream is to be in another place instead of being just where we be.

Gigi was found. Her owners love her very much. She is one of the lucky kitties. She weighs only 5 lbs and looks like a kitten.

A lone male gray wolf from the Oregon wolf pack Imnaha crossed into California just after this Christmas. He has been given the name ‘Journey.’ This is the first wolf in California in more than 80 years. I send many blessings for his protection. I am the wolf watching.

I was listening to a recording of a howling wolf and my dogs went mad. They were sure there was a varmit in the house or right outside. All they know is that they are hearing something wild.

WAH WAH WAH…….CAAAW CAAAW!!!! That’s the sound I heard in the pines of 2 ravens talking to each other. I thought of the WAH-music. I do love her music and the raven calls didn’t sound the least bit like Wah, but when I saw how I spelled the call, I thought ….how ironic……the raven counter part. Ofcourse……spirit music. ‘Wah’ has found a shinny bauble as ravens are known to do. A key on a chain and worn around his neck. A key to what?
