Coyote medicine will teach you to see your true self. Coyote is funny and a first class trickster. Pay attention because all is not always what it seems.

I met coyote again today sitting right where I usually rest when on a walk. Since the dogs wanted to chase him and it was difficult to hang onto them, I turned around and headed back home. This coyote followed me little by little. He matched my length of steps with his own. He would just look at us when I stopped. Finally, as I approached the main road, he just lay down in the sunny field. I would love to know his game and game it must be since coyotes are so smart and tricky but this behavior is mysterious to me.

My dogs caught scent of coyote this morning while we were walking. Then we heard their yowling. Probably a fresh kill. I thought of this little bar in the desert called the “Blue Coyote’  where I have gone with friends for a pitcher of Marguerites.

Nrisingha is a man-lion avatar. It is told that Vishnu, the supreme lord, descended to earth as a creature half man and half lion. On earth he slew the demon Hiranyakasipu because this demon’s great pride had angered the gods as well as man. This is a very involved story which I will not attempt to tell here. Hindu mythology is always very involved and usually bloody. I find it interesting.

That’s a WHOLE LOT OF MOUSIES that Simone has downed. Probably the supplement wet food is the culprit because I doubt that her mousing days are still productive.

'THE SCOLDING'1000

That bear has done something wrong. Have you ever been the brunt of a dissatisfied swan? If so, you will know this scene. My dog Buddha is very friendly and runs right up to little dogs. Sometimes the reception he receives is much like this. And the look on his face is just this one.
