This watercolor is really teensy….1 1/2″ in diameter. I had some tiny frames that had been hanging out in my art supplies so I made this little dragon fly to fit in one.

These two kitties were a commission from two delightful men on the mountain who rescue feral cats. I have been painting their cats for some years now. Lucky cats to have been given a home.

This painting of a Great Pyrenees was inspired by a pair of them who are walked by their humans every day at the lake. They are affectionally called “Pyrs’ by those who know them. Gentle giants.

Winter is in the mountains. You can smell the snow coming. Reggie ordered a little tweedy something from LL Bean in November and he is really happy to have his warm duds now.

Franklin has a brand new pair of prescription glasses. He wasn’t doing very well in the mouse catching department. He just kept missing them as they scurried away. These new spectacles are just the thing. But he is not catching mice right now because he is too busy admiring himself in the mirror.

This little painting was inspired by author Kitty Bloger.

Do I look smart?

He is wishing his Christmas wish. “Please, please fill my stocking with a catnip mouse, a bag of those little liver thingies, a ball with a bell inside, a feather on a string, and, I know it won’t fit inside the stocking, but I reeeally want one of those 4-story scratching posts with all the little peeking holes. Thank you.

A white eagle who visits at Christmas. He and Santa are good friends. And, although, Emanuel looks a bit fierce as eagles always do, he is a charmer. He brings the very special wishes to those who truly believe in Christmas.
