This was a commission for a wedding gift. Very interesting relationship ….a beaver with a snake. The beaver has a very grounded and industrious nature while a snake embodies cosmic consciousness and transmutation. I wonder how this couple’s marriage will evolve. I wish them harmony.

‘No mud….no lotus’
These words are Buddhist in origin but totally apply to any Self seeking path. The incredibly beautiful and delicate lotus flower always rises from a bed of mud….transformed. And just as the realization of perfection for the seeker comes from the mud of pain and suffering.
