Go where the Mother’s blanket heals you, where she gives you new dreams ..if you learn to live in these places, you will live through these times…this is the time to relearn how to live with the Earth. It is a time to honor Spirit. to listen to the Mother, to reawaken our emotional awareness so we can communicate with the higher octaves of reality, upon this sacred egg we call…Earth.- Last Cry, Native American Prophecies
  1. True and so very beautiful. We have run out of time..Last Cry.

    • Where I walk with my dogs has become very populated especially weekends. People throw their trash on the ground. I can scarcely believe it. Where is the consciousness and caring about our earth? And this density comes in spite of the education about the slow death of our beautiful planet. And it’s not so slow anymore.

  2. Sadly these words are cast aside. It is dismal to realize there are so few who are paying attention. I live on a mountainside and daily, trash is tossed aside as if there is no living things upon which it lands… No greening grass, no poppies, no Mother Earth. It sickens me, we live in such a beautiful world yet seems all that is seen is tiny hand-held screens whilst conversations are all around. Unheard… And unseen.

    • Yes…..all of those experiences are also mine. I must add that the level of noise is sad. Visitors behave like they are at a disco. They bring discord to the woods and leave behind their garbage. Even their dogs are frantic and aggressive. I’m sure that they are very nice people…..just not in touch with nature…..at all.

  3. Dear Gretchen, I forgot to say how dear is Bear up there. Will they find another cold place in the decades to come? So sad, they wander and their young cannot keep up, they must travel such great distances, swim deeper seas….

  4. Reblogged this on THE BeZine and commented:
At this moment , Priscilla Galasso (the lead for next issue) and I are working on the March “The BeZine,” which we’ll publish on March 15. The theme is “The Joys of Nature: Wilderness, Gardens and Green Spaces.” I decided to take a break for a few minutes and visit Gretchen Del Rio’s art blog … always a place of peace and joy … and just look at this: the sentiment is right in line with our theme and feelings. Thanks to Gretchen for always so generously sharing her beautiful healing work with us xo
