Queen of the faeries she be. Oh so gay and mysterious. A velvet mushroom for her throne. I love the garden faeries most. Ever look for them in your garden? You, I suppose, must have the sight and the faeries must like and trust you if you are to see them. I put out feathers so as to invite them to my cottage. I have been told by a genuine woodsman that they will be attracted to the feathers.
Breathtaking image; beautifully-composed illustration of words accompanying…
Inner-Self portrait, maybe?
Thank you so much. I think every painting is a self portrait because you cannot help but put yourself in the piece.
So very true!
Lovely! And yes! Plenty of times.
Ahh…a fellow believer in magical. Thank you.

Lovely:)
Thank you Gigi. I found the sketch of this painting which was a few years old. On a lark I painted it. I thought of your faces which I love and since I enjoyed painting this one I just might do another. I like that your faces take up the entire paper.

This is an absolute favorite! I just love when you use human images (even if it is faerie…)
I really enjoyed painting this one and since I did…..more may follow.

This is so lovely! I will be placing some feathers in my garden, although, I just know that they are here. I do not say this because it is my garden, but there is a feeling here that there is something present. I have felt it in a friends garden too.
I know what you mean about the presence. I’m happy you liked the faerie.
Gretchen Dear ! What a compelling and captivating painting !!! Love the story behind it that triggers my wild imagination and the decorative elements in your inspirational painting !

Thank you. She is a faerie goddess.
She’s very beautiful. Interesting what you did with her eyes.
Thank you so much. I love to decorate humans and animals.
