The swan chair on the carousel.

I started painting with an idea and it morphed  and morphed. I kept doodling and this is what came into being.

  1. Looks like it is coming alive…. You can’t conceal your talent for making animate beings look animate! I remember the swan chair: for the elderly or the ones too little to ride a “horse.” And those coin-operated horses at the supermarket, remember them? They seem to be making a comeback. And children continue to be entertained by them, and by carousels, which surprises and delights me.

    • Wouldn’t that be a wonderful tale about the swan on the carousel coming to life. It has most likely been told. I like that idea. Magical.

    • Yes there is something about a swan. Transformation literally.

  2. There is something about a swan. This is lovely. The colors and the sense of movement. Wonderful!
