Love how the cat’s eyes are fixed on the dragonfly…your gift for facial expression again.
I think she will bat at it very soon. right now she is trying to figure out what this is.
Yes! Dragon flies – or darning needles, as we used to call them – are pure magic. This is quite lovely and magical too.
Wow…darning needles. I had forgotten that. I’m glad you mentioned the name. Dragonflies for me are synonymous with hot sultry days.
The burst of color offered up by the dragonfly is wonderful and throws my eye back to that cat. Ears so intense!
At any moment the cat could throw out a paw and grab the dragonfly. Cats become mesmerized by flying things.
