Rommel is his name. A fierce purveyor of desert rats. Better be careful all you rodents. Rommel is on the march.

  1. Indeed he is and look how determined he is.Wonderful! 🙂

  2. This one makes me smile. Those pupils at the top and skimming his eyelids crack me up, so intent is he. Hope the prey got away, though, Rommel looks like he enjoys homefed meals. 🙂

    • He is a bit chunky. Usually the fat cats do a lot more dreaming about the hunt than the actual doing of the deed. But, never the less, they still have intensity.

  3. This guy made me grin! The intensity in his expression reminds me of the several, very fierce “housecats” I’ve known, cats who not only moused, but feared no squirrel, rabbit, or possum, including one gray tabby, who used to cavalierly roam his city neighborhood at night on the 4th of July, indifferent to the fireworks, a master of all he surveyed. He would climb 30 feet into a tree, confusing and terrorizing the squirrels, who were accustomed to climb for their safety, and had no problem climbing back down, either. A maverick among cats!
