How to walk the path.

“Say little, love much and keep on going.”

  1. I particularly like this one. Partly i sense a self-portrait. And also the caption highlights the bridge between animal and human in your work.

  2. Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Jude. Not quite sure just what bridges the gap. Animals exist In pre-egoic consciousness. Humans go further with ego identification. Then we must disidentify in order to once again have simplicity. Seems like a lot of work.

  3. Maybe your work bridges the gap just by showing the human in the animal…

  4. I think that the painted animals are imbued with qualities from the alembic. Suffering into compassion. In our journey toward compassion we return through surrender to a state of freedom much like that of animals, but also very different. I know that when I say that the animals I paint are not contrived by mind, but appear from another source……you will understand because you paint this way also.

  5. He looks so at peace. Wonderful words and painting.

  6. Thank you for all your comments. I really appreciate each and everyone of them.
