Charlie is wearing a bell. Do you suppose that he is strictly an inside cat? Because I would not dare to put a bell on my cat who comes and goes as he pleases. He would certainly alert the coyotes and possibly become their first course for dinner.


  1. A quite domesticated lovely cat,as sound as a bell,striking a pose for prolific,imaginative artists.
    Apparently,Charlie,you enjoy the elegantly painted tulips,as much as I do.

  2. I never thought about it before reading your comment, Doda, but cats are like artists’ models. They almost seductively seem to assume different poses for the benefit of the observing artist. They drape their bodies because it’s a cat’s nature to do so.
