A contrite dragon. Wonder what he did?

I love that. So poetic. But then consider the source. I love how suggestions as to what got this dragon into trouble have been offered.

Supposedly except for an English dragon.
I think this depends on the cultural source of your dragon lore. I’ve read that in the Cherokee tradition, dragons were regarded as protectors of the people.
